When a client in Wilston, a suburb of South Brisbane, specifically required a new suspended concrete slab, they turned to us at GLD Constructions for a result they could build on.
A Queenslander-style home was on the property, and the client wanted the home lifted. Due to the slope of the block, a suspended concrete slab was the answer. The client knew this project required professional work to be safe, accurate, durable, and strong.
Subsequently, we happily received contact from the client regarding their project.
The first step was to finalise the measurements and design. Once the house was lifted using an excavator and a small crew, we dug out the ground for the new suspended concrete slab and the accommodating footings.
The next step was the formwork and steel. Then, we poured the concrete and removed the formwork once it was adequately dry.
Completion of the project to excellent standards, with good communication, ensured the client is happy with the result, which was delivered on time and on budget.
