A new retaining wall and fence construction project completed at Wishart, Brisbane
When a client in Wishart, a suburb of South Brisbane, specifically required a new retaining wall and fence construction, they turned to us at GLD Constructions for a result they could count on.
A visually outdated and deteriorating retaining wall and fence were currently on the property, requiring reconstruction, and the client also had plans for a pool. The client knew this project required professional work to be safe, durable, and look well-constructed.
Subsequently, we happily received contact from the client regarding their project.
The first step was to finalise the measurements and design. Then afterwards, with an excavator and a small crew, the old retaining wall and fence was carefully and safely removed. We then further dug out the ground for the new wall and its accommodating footings.
We then set the posts in concrete with precise care regarding height, angle, and distance. The concrete sleepers, carefully lifted and set in place, were the next step.
Lastly, sufficient water drainage works and backfill of earth completed the wall.
With a new retaining wall in place, we constructed the fencing with care in alignment, visual appeal, height, and strength.
Completion of the project to excellent standards, with good communication, ensured the client is happy with the result, which was delivered on time and on budget.
