Project Overview
When a client in Wilston, a suburb of South Brisbane, specifically required a new suspended concrete slab they turned to us at GLD Constructions for a result they could build on.
A Queenslander style home was on the property and the client wanted the home lifted. Due to the slope of the block, a suspended concrete slab was the answer. The client knew this project required professional work to be safe, accurate, durable, and strong.
Subsequently, we happily received contact from the client about their project.
Concrete Slab Construction
The first step was to finalize the measurements and design. Once the house was lifted, with an excavator and a small crew we dug the ground out for the new suspended concrete slab and accommodating footings.
The next step was the formwork and steel. Then, we poured the concrete and removed the formwork once it was adequately dry.
